Bluecover started this week the implementation of GOLF-ANALYTICS Minimal Viable Product (MVP) aiming to evaluate the traction of the product with golf users. The MVP is the web base application for stroke classification and post analysis that will allow users to classify their strokes after the game and enable to analyse their statistics in order to improve their overall performance.

The MVP is a Ruby on Rails implementation with 2 months duration that aims to launch the product with a initial feature set. It is targeting amateur’s players willing to make fast improvements. The MVP will be operational in September, scalable enough to support several hundreds of users.

The GA product roadmap for 2015 includes the development of an auto tracking feature of strokes using location based receivers, wearable sensors and Earth Observation information. The automatic tracking mode does not require human intervention thus minimizing intrusiveness on the player concentration during the game.
